Dynamic Attacks

No more rolling to hit. To attack, just roll the damage die. A 1 misses and deals no damage.

For spells and weapons with multiple dice, the die that appears first/on the left in the dice order is considered the Primary Die. If the Primary Die lands on a 1, the attack misses and deals no damage regardless of the other dice.

Exploding Critical Hits

Any time the highest number on the Primary Die is rolled, the Primary Die is rolled again and added to the total. There is no limit to how many times this damage can stack, except your luck!

Critical Hits ignore the target’s Armor Class.

Dynamic Saving Attacks

For your attacks and spells where the DM would normally make a saving throw, you instead roll a saving attack to see if you can beat the target's defenses.

When you make a saving attack, roll a d20 and add your spell save DC. The opposing DC is 22 plus the target's saving throw bonus. If the spell would affect multiple targets, make a separate attack roll for each—but roll the damage only once for all targets.

Saving Attacks

Saving Attack Roll: d20 + your spell save DC
DC: 22 + target’s saving throw bonus

If your target would have Advantage on their saving throw, apply Disadvantage to your saving attack—and vice versa if your target would have Disadvantage.

Saving attacks ignore the target’s armor, do not miss on a 1, and cannot crit.
